Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. The service
Perpetua Secure Channel ("Secure Channel", "we", "us") lets you create private channels to collect documents and files from partners. Partners can submit items through a link without creating an account. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials (password, Google, and passkey) secure. You must be at least 13 years old. We may suspend accounts that we believe violate these Terms or the law.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Secure Channel to:
- upload content you do not have the right to share;
- upload malware, or content that is illegal or infringes another's rights;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' channels;
- circumvent rate limits, access controls, or channel expiry/use restrictions.
We scan uploaded files for malware. Items detected as infected are not stored and the event is recorded.
4. Your content and responsibility
You retain ownership of the content you and your partners upload. By uploading, you grant us the limited right to store, process, scan, and deliver that content as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of what you collect and share, including obtaining any consents required to handle personal data. Encrypted storage and malware scanning reduce but do not eliminate risk; we do not guarantee that content will remain permanently confidential or that the service will be error-free.
5. Free plan and limits
The free plan currently includes one active channel and a storage allowance (currently 1 GB). We may change limits or plans with notice. We may disable content that exceeds limits or that we believe violates these Terms.
6. Channel access links and tokens
Access links and tokens are the channel owner's responsibility. You should treat them like passwords — if a link is shared with someone you did not intend, revoke it. We are not liable for content disclosed through links you issued.
7. Availability and backups
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We take backups; however, you should keep your own copies of anything critical, as we do not guarantee recovery in every circumstance.
8. Termination and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for cause. Upon a deletion request we remove account and channel data subject to our retention and legal obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or zero for the free plan).
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: [email protected].
